IVU Reporting
With the Treasury Department of Puerto Rico
The Tax Supervision Program for Sales and Use Tax (IVU in Puerto Rico) is an IVU audit program which uses the technology to ensure that the tax that the businesses charge their customers reaches the Department of Finance, according to what stipulated by law.
The Department determined that as of October 30, 2015, merchants whose total annual sales volume exceeds one hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) are required to install, own, and maintain at each and every point of sale a tax terminal that complies with the specifications established in the Regulations.
YCS Fiscal is a reliable and secure software, certified by the Treasury Department of Puerto Rico, to report fiscal information or IVU (what was ones known as IVU Loto).
Installed independently at each point of sale, YCS Fiscal intercepts the printer issued by the POS, then adds any information required at the end of the receipt by Hacienda. Once the data is written and the system detects a good internet connection, it connects to YCS servers to generate the daily files required by the Treasury Department of Puerto Rico to report IVU in Puerto Rico.
